एक प्रतिष्ठित हिंदी लेखक तथा शिक्षाविद् हैं, जो हिंदी साहित्य में अपने विस्तृत योगदानों के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं। 1963 में बिहार विश्वविद्यालय से हिंदी साहित्य में स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त करने के बाद, उन्होंने पटना विश्वविद्यालय से उत्कृष्ट शोध कर पीएचडी और डी.लिट्. की उपाधि प्राप्त की। एक विश्वविद्यालय प्राध्यापक और शोध-निर्देशक के रूप में उनकी भूमिका में उनका शिक्षा के प्रति समर्पण स्पष्ट है, जहां उन्होंने अनेक विद्वानों का मार्गदर्शन किया है और इस क्षेत्र को समृद्ध किया है।
डॉ. श्याम की साहित्यिक कृतियाँ उनकी बहुमुखी प्रतिभा के प्रमाण हैं, जिसमें उपन्यास, लघु कथाएँ, कविताएँ, नाटक, निबंध, यात्रा वृतांत, दार्शनिक कार्य, भाषाई अध्ययन, साहित्यिक आलोचना और अनुसंधान शामिल हैं। उल्लेखनीय कृतियों में उपन्यास जिजीविषा, वर्तमान की पहचान और समय से आगे, लघु कथा संग्रह जिंदगी: नज़दीक से, नया आकाश और भागता अंधेरा, और कविता संग्रह अस्तित्व बोध, हम भारत के पहरेदार और गीत अमृत के सुंदर शामिल हैं। उनके कार्यों में नाटक, निबंध, यात्रा वृतांत और दार्शनिक अध्ययन भी शामिल हैं।
डॉ. श्याम की उपलब्धियाँ केवल उनके साहित्यिक योगदान तक ही सीमित नहीं हैं। उनके कार्यों -संसार को भारत का सरस्वत अवदान, नाटक और रंगमंच, और भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की रूपरेखा को राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान मिली है। उनके ग्रंथों को श्रीमती इंदिरा गांधी और स्वर्गीय डॉ. शंकर दयाल शर्मा ने लोकार्पित किया था। डॉ. श्याम को प्रतिष्ठित राष्ट्रीय चाणक्य पुरस्कार से भी सम्मानित किया गया है।
About Me
A luminary of Hindi literature, is renowned for his profound contributions to the field. Having earned a golden medal in Hindi Literature from Bihar University in 1963, he subsequently attained the highest academic degrees of PhD and D.Litt. from Patna University, his research being of the most distinguished order. His dedication to academia is evident in his role as a University Professor and Research Guide, where he has mentored countless scholars and enriched the field.
Dr. Shyam's literary works attest to his versatility, encompassing novels, short stories, poems, plays, essays, travelogues, philosophical treatises, linguistic studies, literary criticism, and research. Notable among his works are the novels Jijivisha, Vartaman ki Pehchan, and Samay se Aage; the short story collections Zindagi: Nazdeek se, Naya Aakash, and Bhagta Andhera; and the poetry collections Astitva Bodh, Ham Bharat ke Pahredaar, and Geet Amrit ke Sundar. His works also include plays, essays, travelogues, and philosophical studies.
Dr. Shyam's accomplishments transcend his literary endeavors. His works, such as Sansar ko Bharat ka Saraswat Avdan, Natak aur Rangamanch, and Bharatiya Swatantrata Sangram ki Ruprekha, have garnered national and international acclaim. His literary creations have been formally released by esteemed dignitaries, including the late Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India, and the late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, the former President of India. Dr. Shyam has also been bestowed with the prestigious National Chanakya Award.
